Yardify Pro Tips

To become a successful Yardify Pro it is essential to have a good handle on the Yardify App's functionality. Proper registration is the first step.

After downloading and installing the Yardify App on your iPhone you will be prompted to enter several data fields. These will become the basis of your Yardify Pro account.

Along with your real personal information, Yardify also requires its Pros to successfully create a Stripe account (so you can get paid) and obtain liability insurance within 30 days of getting provisional platform approval. Yardify has partnered with NEXT Insurance to offer Landscaping Pros liability insurance.

To receive inbound New Job Notifications from Clients, it is essential to set your Work Radius. The Work Radius identifies in what specific geographic area you are available to accept and complete new jobs. Setting your Work Radius is easy.

To set your Work Radius log in to the Yardify App and navigate to Account, then Settings, and finally New Job Notifications. From there click Apply, select the geographic area in which you would like to receive new job notifications, and then hit Apply. Once your Work Radius is set your Yardify Pro account can receive inbound New Job Notifications. 

As the Yardify platform grows over time, Yardify Pros who are early adopters stand to benefit. There are three primary ways to earn money on the platform.

First, for Landscaping Pros who have existing Clients can now Text Invoice™ Clients via the Yardify App. This allows Pros to collect funds faster for completed work than the traditional Net 30 day payment cycle. There is a time value of money.

Second, fully-approved Landscaping Pros on the Yardify Platform can receive inbound new Client leads in their Work Radius via the Yardify Pro home screen that they can either accept or decline based on their preference for the job.

Third, Landscaping Pros over time can create valuable repeatable routes by optimizing their Activity log. In the future Yardify plans to offer Landscaping Pros the ability to Buy and Sell established landscaping routes from their Yardify Pro accounts. This will allow Landscaping Pros to monetize their business they have created and also offer new Landscaping Pros the opportunity to purchase established routes.

The Yardify App is a dual-sided platform that connects Landscaping Pros with Clients to facilitate Landscaping On Demand work. In either case, once downloaded from the App Store a user needs to sign-up either as a Landscaping Pro (provider of services) or a Client (requester of services.)

For Clients signing-up it is as simple as entering an email address, password, real first and last name, cell phone number, and DOB (to verify over 18 to be on platform.) Hit register and a Client can start using the Yardify App (to request service a credit card needs to be on file with our partner Stripe.)

Once Registered, a Client can then choose from a menu of services that will generate an estimate real-time and post the job to the local work area. Currently Yardify can accommodate most job requests within 48 hours, with the goal being within 24 hours by the end of 2025 and ultimately within an hour once the platform has enough Landscaping Pros Registered.

For Landscaping Pros the registration process is equally as easy, with just a couple more steps added including vetting. Landscaping pros Sign Up naturally under the "Landscaping Pro" tab. To create a Landscaping Pro account the user will need an email address, password, real first and last name, cell phone, DOB (no users on platform under 18), a request for years of experience, type of experience, whether they are licensed, and whether they are insured. A Landscaping Pro applicant then hits the Register button.

After that information has been submitted a Landscaping Pro applicant needs to establish a Stripe account (so he can get paid) and also provide proof of insurance (Yardify has partnered with NEXT Insurance to provide single and small shops liability coverage quotes they previously could not obtain.

From there the Landscaping Pro is vetted at multiple levels before approval is granted to be on the Yardify platform.

A new Landscaping Pro has two ways to make money: 1) Receive inbound Client requests in their respective work area and/or 2) work with or find new Clients of their own and used the Yardify Text Invoice Button™ to invoice existing clients once work is compete via text. The ability to utilize the Text Invoice Button™ streamlines the billing process and cuts down how long a Landscaping Pro has to wait to get paid.

By utilizing a combination of business relationships and software programming Yardify ultimately saves Clients time and provides Landscaping Pros with more work.

Yardify delivers professional results that Clients deserve and provides Landscaping Pros with more, better work. Work that can be completed in a timely fashion on set schedule and for a set price which is paid immediately after the job is finished.

In fact, Yardify has teamed with some of the most exciting technology and financial partners in the industry like Twilio for SMS communications and Stripe to handle payments. Liability insurance previously unavailable to solo or small shops? Yeah we got that too with our partner NEXT Insurance.

Listen, the current situation as we were keenly aware of during the Summer of 2024 when Yardify was conceptualized was/is that most of the residential landscaping industry operated in a form of controlled chaos with little to no communication between the residential Client and the Landscaping Pro.

Much of the industry nationwide functions with a similar blueprint: a handful of local monopolies control the bulk of the landscaping maintenance work (Lawn Mowing, Leaf Blowing, Tree Trimming, Planting, Pruning, Yard Clean-Up, Snow Removal) which they farm out to multiple small crews paid minimum wage (at best.) This model almost insures a complete lack of communication between the actual landscapers and the Client...not to mention something quite different than exceptional results. 

The Yardify model is different, by design. Yardify democratizes the landscaping profession by putting more job control, pricing power, and responsibility in the hands of the actual Landscaping Pro handling a job. We figured Clients would be willing to pay a premium for a superior result rather than a mediocre service.

By using the Yardify App an experienced Landscaping Pro with quality equipment arrives on time, at the right job site, and completes the specific job the client wants. Furthermore, upon completion the Client receives pictures of the finished work and a note describing what was done. Open communication. Revolutionary!

But why all this talk about Landscaping Pros and not Clients? To fulfill our core mission at Yardify, to Create Beauty™ it all starts with platforming the right Landscaping Pros. The type of Landscaping Pros who take pride in their work, are on time, courteous, communicative, and are laser-focused on delivering exceptional results. Average results are for the monopolies.

Once approved to be on the Yardify platform, a vetted Landscaping Pro is eligible for new Client leads to be delivered to their mobile phone via the Yardify App. But perhaps more importantly, Landscaping Pros can Text Invoice their existing Clients for completed jobs. No more Net 30 or...gulp...Net 60 day pay cycles. And these invoices are robust, because one of the biggest problems in the landscaping profession is the lack of communication.

Each invoice sent via the Text Invoice™ button has the job location mapped, address, pictures of the job, notes on the job, when the job was completed, and the Landscaping Pro's price for the job which can be paid by credit card immediately. No more checks left under the BBQ or envelopes taped to the front door.

So to scale up fast we're scaling up slowly, deliberately, resolutely. Our goal is to platform 1,000 Landscaping Pros in 2025. 10,000 Landscaping Pros within 3 years. And ultimately our "cap goal" of 100,000 Landscaping Pros by 2032. 

Given that there are approximately 130,000,000 households in America and most of them would greatly benefit from professional landscaping care those 100,000 Landscaping Pros in 2032 will have their hands full!

But enough about the the Landscaping Pros, how about the Yardify Client! We believe Clients should have choice and options when choosing landscaping service and not be pigeon-holed into accepting the status quo, rather Clients should have significantly more input into what THEY want to have accomplished on their residence.

Clients on the Yardify App have the ability to schedule (YOU pick the time and location where the Landscaping Pro shows up!), select (you might not need the SAME service every month or you might need additional work done), and pay securely via credit card (no more rounding up cash or a check floating around!) for their jobs.

Time and again the biggest challenge is communication, and that's why Yardify was designed for open communication between the Client and Landscaping Pro. You will know ahead of time when your Landscaping Pro is arriving, what will be done, how much it will be, and once completed you can see the results and read a brief note of what was done prior to paying your invoice.

In terms of platforming Clients, we can currently service the ENTIRE United States with at least 48 hours job notice. We are hoping to get this lead time cut in half to 24 hours by the end of 2025 and ultimately our goal is 1 hour (you read that correctly) notice for any job in the United States during normal business hours.
